The large, U-shaped rock wall in Osp has played an important role in the lives of the inhabitants of surrounding villages as a place to seek refuge from assailants since antiquity. Climbers looking to conquer the predominantly difficult routes have been drawn here and to the neighboring Mišja Peč since the 1930s.
