Referred to simply as “Font” or “Bleau” among climbing circles, this vast bouldering paradise is steeped in history and is situated in the forests south of Paris. The widely used difficulty rating scale for boulder problems, the Fb scale, was invented in this traditional climbing area. The place is also known for its color-coded circuits comprising various boulders of a similar level of difficulty.
