Tsaranoro’s imposing granite walls reach heights of up to 800 meters and are located in the wilderness on the African island of Madagascar. Most of the routes are long and have been developed on extremely compact rock, into which it is virtually impossible to place temporary bolts. The routes are traditionally opened from the ground upwards.
