Piedra Parada, which translates as “standing stone”, marks the entrance to a gorge in the heart of the Patagonian Desert. Numerous routes have been opened on the rock walls of the five-kilometer-long canyon. Despite this development work, climbing in this almost magically tranquil spot surrounded by wilderness remains an adventurous experience.
